I am a retired Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) with a wealth of experience accumulated during my time in the Georgia Army National Guard, where I served as an Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Infantryman. My military service includes deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan, where I gained invaluable skills and insights. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work in areas such as recruiting, training, and ensuring unit readiness.

Throughout my retirement process, I encountered significant challenges, particularly in my search for mentorship and practical, actionable advice, which often left me feeling frustrated and isolated. Many service members, like myself, face similar obstacles and struggle to feel adequately prepared for their transition, particularly those who might hesitate to reach out and ask for the help they need. I found myself grappling with numerous unanswered questions regarding how to file my claim, get in touch with Tricare, and fully understand my benefits. My goal is to assist fellow veterans by answering these pressing questions and ultimately making their transition smoother and more manageable.
